WAYNE WEST
CEO
As a 3rd generation builder, Wayne has grown up on the construction site from the young age of 5 years old. Building with his grandfather,he learned to honor deals made over a handshake at the coffee shop and the importance of putting employees and clients first. Wayne’s passion for arts and working with his hands has led not only to building homes but into designing functional floor plans with elevations and materials that stand out among the rest.While attending college, Wayne was a member on the International Honor Society, Phi Beta Kapa, and on the Dean’s List in 2000. He continues learning through manufacture’s product seminars and trade related conferences. Wayne West is passionate about building and helping the people behind the communities Wahea Homes builds for.
LACY WEST
President
President and co-founder, Lacy West is a native Houstonian with home and commercial building experience. She is hard working with a strong passion for Texas and family. She is dedicated to ongoing training and education to ensure our team members are utilizing “Best Practices” and that each build is conducted safely. Lacy West is a member of the NAHB and the GHBA. Her unique background working for a Fortune 500 company brings team building, talent development, leadership skills, scheduling and project planning to the forefront for Wahea Homes.

As a young person,I always dreamed of owning a home and that is why I became a builder. I want to take a hands on approach to ensure that the first steps to making that dream a reality is a smooth one. Let me know what you envision,and we will walk through the building process together. We provide housing designs that accommodate families so they can focus on what matters most to them. A design that gives refuge from the outside world after a hard day’s work with a relaxing and secure environment. Our goal is to build a sense of pride in each home for us as a company and for our clients by supporting the local economy through sourcing local labor and vendors.
